Our Founder

 Dana began her career in public accounting as a tax staff for Deloitte in 1998. She quickly gravitated toward corporate tax, advising multinational companies, and ultimately specialized within international tax. After six years, Dana left Deloitte to become the global Director of Tax at one of her clients. Since then, she has held various roles leading the international tax or the global tax functions at other public or privately held companies. 

In her tax roles, Dana was responsible for intercompany accounting, legal entity accounting, and consolidations. She was also responsible for establishing operations for new entities, intercompany supply chain design, pricing, and trade planning. To improve upon legacy reporting, she would reverse-engineer data outputs by understanding upstream processes and systems in functions including AP, AR, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to identify where gaps existed. By working with others, she was able to obtain better data, automate calculations and co-sponsor projects that drive benefits across the organization.

Dana chose to bring her passion for harmonizing people, process, and technology across finance and operations as the founder of Artios Consultants Inc. in late 2022. As a fractional CXO, she can offer her clients the flexible and affordable access to the executive level guidance they need to accelerate their business growth.  

Dana obtained her bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1998. Dana subsequently obtained her master’s in business taxation from the University of Southern California in December 2002.
